Sho Konishi 25AW "Flashback Memories"
marks a decade since I left Japan—a journey that has profoundly reshaped my identity compared to when I first started in Tokyo's fashion scene. My early years in Tokyo were filled with darker times; much of my creative inspiration back then stemmed from personal trauma, unsettling memories, and intense experiences I faced as a teenager.

Now, living in New York City, I find myself in a much happier place, surrounded by inspiring people and enriched by new experiences that have transformed my perspective. While Tokyo remains a city I hold dear, this collection represents my farewell to the shadows of my past and a celebration of the growth they've fueled.

This is my way of acknowledging the pain while expressing gratitude for how it shaped me into the designer I am today. I embrace the joy in my life now because I've learned how difficult and unkind life can be.

These flashback memories serve as milestones in my evolution, reminding me of the strength I've gained through my journey.
